Often when we hear that phrase we think of a wise older woman. She often has white hair and dispenses motherly advice that we’d be foolish not to follow. But I think that being a woman in your prime is more about coming into your own, rather than a specific age.
You’ve probably known some women who were younger than you who just seemed to have it all together. Perhaps you’ve wondered (as I have) when you’re going to get your own act together and you’ve looked at these women with envy, wondering what they’ve got that you don’t.
But maybe you’ve had other days when you thought, “Man, all the cylinders are firing today!” Those are the days that make you feel like you’ve finally got it all figured out – things are working – and life is coming together just like you planned.
What a shame those days don’t seem to happen often enough for some of us.
